Carbon farming outreach program

Arrow Left White Back to projects

The way we manage our land today will shape its future. Carbon farming offers a practical way for land managers in our region to build resilience to climate change, improve soil health, and create new income opportunities - all while reducing emissions and storing carbon in the landscape.

Landscapes Hills and Fleurieu is delivering the Carbon Farming Outreach Program to support landholders in understanding and adopting these approaches.

Through this program, we provide:

Workshops and information sessions on carbon farming opportunities

Advice on low-carbon farming practices that support productivity and sustainability

Guidance on accessing carbon markets and funding options

This program is funded by the Commonwealth of Australia through the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment, and Water under the Carbon Farming Outreach Program.
